Curriculum
Course Requirements
All students are required to complete ten hours of core couse work (BIOC 630, CECS 660, CECS 694 and PHBI 750); three hours of a biology selective elective (BIOC 545 or MBIO 667); three hours of a computer science selective elective (CECS 619 or CECS 632); six hours of electives in mathematics and statistics; six hours of electives in biomedical and natural sciences; six hours of electives in computational sciences; and an additional three hours in their focus area. Approved electives are listed below. Additional electives may be approved in consultation with the student's advisor, the chair of the executive committee, and the director of graduate studies. (Approved Fall 2018).
